Booster Hall of Fame and Booster of the Year Nominations:  Turn your nominations for these awards into a Booster Club officer prior to our next meeting.

2008/2009 Officer Nominations:  Please turn in your nominations for officers for next year to the present officers prior to our next meeting.

Coaches Wish List:  Deadline for these are April 30.  Tom Osterbuhr suggested we contact coaches beforehand or possibly hold a coaches meeting.  Sharon Witmer proposed we have a long-range priority list and a year end report from each head coach.  Sharon will work on a form for coaches to complete.

Popcorn Popper:  Our warranty ended on February 2, and our popper broke down a couple of weeks after that.  Mid NE Restaurant Supply can give us a repair estimate.  Janiece suggested that once we get an estimate, we consider contacting the manufacturer regarding the warranty.  A suggestion was made that we charge a maintenance fee for use of our popper.  Tom Osterbuhr will contact Mid Ne regarding the repair.

Other Business:  Dave Sochor from Doniphan is planning on retiring after this year from hosting the state power lifting championships.  He has asked if our Booster Club would want to consider taking over the event.  This would require many volunteers for a full day.  It would be a very profitable event to host.

The GISH Athletic Director has asked that the Booster Club send a letter of support towards replacing the Memorial Stadium field with turf.  Tom Osterbuhr made a motion to send the letter, Kay Flaherty seconded and the motion carried.

Karnival Kapers has asked for a Crusader wear clothing donation.  Howard will give something to Sharon for this.

Kay Flaherty made a motion to adjourn, Jan Krolikowski seconded and the motion carried.  The meeting adjourned at 7:55 P.M.

The next Booster club meeting is scheduled for Sunday, April 13 @ 7:00 P.M.

All GICC parents are members of the Athletic Booster Club and are encouraged to participate.  There are no dues to pay.   It is a great way to meet other parents and a fun way to get involved.  Please consider attending our next meeting!

Respectfully submitted,

Janiece Jones
